A cup of coffee makers is very convenient in many ways. It is economic in that you are not wasting money by making a big pot of coffee, just to drink a cup or two from it – and it is also reasonable to households where one person likes one type of coffee and others prefer something completely different. These types of machines usually come in three distinct styles, the manual presses, automated pod coffee makers, automatic drip coffee maker and. manual presses: Manual Coffee Coffee machines require you to measure your coffee grinds, and poor them into a paper filter. This is actually the most popular style of coffee aficionados. They usually enjoy the process to grind beans, playing with different flavors, etc. For this reason, there should be a minimal learning curve associated with it. Manual presses do not require electricity to run, so they are useful for excursions and outdoor events. But you want to keep one thing in mind – you have to preheat your water and will need to use a certain amount of force to the plunger down. Automatic Drip Coffee Maker: Now, this type is the automatic version of the manual press. Automated devices certainly requires a lot less work, making them the style of choice for most households and businesses. Like the manual, you must measure the grind and add them to the filter, but with the flip of a switch or press of a button, the machine will heat the water and begin to drop. Pod Coffee Maker: The pod coffee maker takes convenience and ease of use to the next level. There is no need for a bean grinder, coffee filters or a carafe. Simply insert the pod allow the machine to heat your water, and in less than a minute, you have a single cup of piping hot joe. Now, like everything else, with convenience comes a price increase. The actual pods tend to be more expensive than a bag of ground beans. Not only that, but some manufacturers have designed their units to not be compatible with a variety of tubs – or just to be compatible with a particular type. This can be very restrictive. In deciding which type is best for you, you will want to consider several things: engine size, options, and security features. If you have a small kitchen, or limited in space – a compact machine will of course be the ideal device for you. You can lean heavily against a pod coffee maker, but remember it – you have to buy tubs and depending on the brand may be limited in the types your maker can use. Finally, safety features are important to any home, but especially those with small children. Look for a unit that has an automatic shut-off switch. The last thing you want is a machine that will heat for hours at a time, small fingers may be tempted to touch and burns are not fun!

I’m using Chilled Drip Coffee (Light Roast), I’m unsure of the ratio between the Coffee and the Milk. Also Should I be using Chilled Espresso as opposed to chilled Drip Coffee? Any help is appreciated,

What’s the best way to clean the inside of one of these drip style coffee machines? This is a home use machine not commercial. There’s a rid light on the control panel that is now blinking “clean”.
