OK so I been fine with my Cuisinart 12 cupper for going on 3 years. As of the past 2 pots the amount of coffee yeilded is like 2/3 of what’s initially measured out.

What’s going on in there, do i need a new charcoal filter or something?

I only drink Starbuck’s French or Espresso Roast could that be eating away at the mechanisms? (just kidding) :~D
I grind whole beans as needed. I prefer Starbuck’s, I’ve actually never had ‘grocery store’ coffee that was decent. (snobbish I know)

I could not find anyone who said you do not kan.Jag Percolator removed the hose and cleaned as much of the massive accumulation of hard water cake as I could. But I could not quite get to the middle part of the u-tube. So I tried to run straight through the CLR (as running machine via a bridge cycling). It seemed to unlock more of the debris. I rinsed 3 times with water. Coffee machine is as new, there is a single cup Toastess Walmart special (big machine, had it for 6 years).
