Binary me over at XDA got hold of the system dump from myTouch Slide and Domenuk could port it to their myTouch 3G/G1. I am so surprised that even in an early position you can see how well this works on my very limited G1. This may well be the first HEALTHY second A ROM for G1 =) The myTouch Slide (myTouch 3G but with a physical keyboard) will be T-Mobile’s first phone with Android second 1 and HTC’s updated Espresso Sense UI and should be released sometime in June. T-Mobile went to great lengths to make Android a bit more user friendly for the integration of customers and not only advanced users like myself. Its also more attractive at present displaced Sidekick users and I feel like this is that T-Mobile are trying to target with this new version of their myTouch 3G. T-Mobile had much more influence with the Android phone than any other before it. You can see their programs scattered this phone and although most are pretty useless, I can see how some Android virgins may find them useful. One I particularly liked was myTouch Music app which is essentially a streaming radio station with 100 hits and you can also go to the track. Nice! Most of the other apps that had coincided with a lot of other fuctions already found on the Android (like Settings). Some even seemed that T-Mobile are trying to cash in on some of . . .
