I have a birch wood entertainment center and a light blue couch (the color is hydra sofa from Rooms 2 Go). I come to a Beachy look & feel. Our walls are a sand color with white bead board halfway upp.Skulle a white coffee tables look out of place with birch stained entertainment center? I thought that if I got a table birch coffee it would be too matchy matchy. . . I would like to know others’ opinions on detta.Thx!

How many times have you sat on a sofa, and realized that coffee table was out of place with the rest of the teak furniture? That it was either too high to be comfortable, too low, too small, width or length wise, or perhaps too large. Finding a coffee table that really works is not the easiest thing to do. In fact, it is one of the most difficult furniture to fit into your decor.

There is no legal standard when it comes to the coffee table, there is not a standard height, width or length when it comes to coffee tables. It is as simple as choosing one that suits you best. But there are lots of ways to do wrong. It does not matter if you have an outdoor coffee table or get a coffee table to suit your teak wood furniture arrangement, there are some serious Don’t's when it comes to choosing a coffee table. First, check your room dimensions or the dimensions of your outdoor space.

Coffee tables are designed to be the centerpiece of a furniture so keep that in mind. An outdoor coffee table is no different, you will want to cluster a teak design furniture around it and you will want to make sure there is enough space to move around without your outdoor coffee table from the diminishing space. Small space, small outdoor coffee tables, large room, large outdoor coffee table. Do not turn your outdoor coffee table for a place to store things – that’s not the point of an outdoor coffee table.

An outdoor coffee table is designed to bring attention to your teak furniture or outdoor room, so your outdoor coffee table should have something attractive placed on it, if you need something that is placed on your outdoor coffee table. When purchasing an outdoor coffee table, think of what it used to be. Also check that it matches the rest of your teak wood furniture pieces. An outdoor coffee table should be no place that can be used to place drinks and perhaps small plates of snacks. An outdoor coffee table is not a dining table, so you do not want it too high. An outdoor coffee table is not a Japanese style table, you do not want your outdoor coffee table to be an ankle biter. Take some time and figure out exactly what you need in your outdoor coffee table before you invest money in a product that you might not be happy with.

My dining room and living room furniture is espresso colored. Any ideas on what shade of hardwood congratulate them and how about the wall color? I definitely like the color and look white and off white rather boring on the walls.

I am trying to complete a bedroom set by purchasing different parts from different sets. The headboard I bought was beautiful, but the dressers and armoires weren’t. So I’m putting together my own “set”. I would consider my headboard to be an espresso color and there is a dresser online that is considered “coffee” color. There are other dressers that are espresso but I L0VE this dresser. If I were to purchase it would the colors be totally off?
