Sustainable Harvest’s agronomists work with coffee farmers from the Kanyovu cooperative in Tanzania to improve the quality of their coffee. As the harvest season wraps up this year, the farmers tasted the fruits of their labor — an excellent cup of specialty-grade roasted coffee. Tasting their own coffee and connecting its quality to the measures the farmer have taken to improve the production and processing of their beans is the first time farmers have learned the concrete connection between how they handle their coffee and what it tastes like once roasted and brewed.

First training center for Vietnamese coffee farmers to be launched
