I do a scientific experiment and I need to know if there is an acid or base, and it’s pH levels. What substances are acids and bases and what is the pH measurements for each object 2. How do you think the pH of the food substances you tested about their effects on the gastrointestinal tract, and 3. How do you think the pH of household chemicals you tested related to their function? 4th Describe the results of your combine acids and bases activity.

Ok. I’ll buy that you can measure the pH of vinegar (it’s acetic acid, with a pH of about 4) and bleach, since it is sodium hypochlorite and is basic, and the pH is probably around 8 to 10.
But the rest of these??? Pardon me, but it’s nonsense to estimate the pH of a piece of spinach or a dinner plate, or an oven mitt.
pH is a measure of the hydrogen ion concentration in a solution. Therefore you need a solution. Last time I checked, an oven mitt is not a component of an aqueous solution.
