Teecino is a coffee subsitute that brews like coffee but doesn’t have acids or caffeine , it contains all natural ingrediants and I would love to see starbucks carry it! All they have is junk to drink there! DO you think a coffee alternative would be good for a place like that?
No nasty comments. . I am asking seriously – so if you have something nasty to say find someone else to say it to please!
well I guess people just need their caffeine- Imagine if that were illegal what would happen! chaos!
emailed starbucks numerous times. .
obvioulsy people are addicted to coffee- teecino is a natural alternative. . coffee is not natural it is highly processed.

No you fucking hippie, just drink coffee like a normal human being.
hehe. well they want you to drink coffee. the last thing they want you to drink is a coffee alternative. it’s not made by them, so if it sells, it cuts into their profits.
Because they don’t want to.
Starbucks offers Starbucks brands only. Your brand would have to sign a distribution deal before that would happen.
Because they are COFFEE houses. They do sell herbal tea. Most people have never heard of teecino, therefore it wouldn’t be a big seller. Starbucks is in this to make money.
Starbucks Coffee doesn’t carry coffee substitutes because they position themselves as a high end coffee retailer.
Starbucks selling coffee substitute would be like Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse selling veggie burgers.
It would diminish the brand.
it’s called tea. starbucks has several types of teas that they offer. i personally don’t care if they offer it or not. i don’t drink decaf coffee so i wouldn’t drink decaf fake coffee.
Yeah. I’m surprised they don’t have Chai on their list as well.
I don’t like coffee so I usually get chai instead.
i think the basic premise of selling coffee is to sell coffee so that mite be the start to your answer
I think it’s an exellent idea for us consumers, but not so good for places like Starbucks. They take pride in roasing their own beans, making up weird names for them and charging a lot for it, so I don’t really see them selling something that is a substitute… though it’s worth a shot. Send them a suggestion!
You are not seriously trying to deface a multi million dollar industry are you? Why not instead of ranting on here, you write the company a suggestion or a concern. Ask them, maybe they will happily furnish you and other avid tea drinkers with an alternative.
Sincerely,
A Marketing Student
It’s a COFFEE HOUSE, so why would they carry something other than COFFEE? Coffee alternative… pssh.
starbucks does not care about what their customers want.
i love the Dandi Blend, and would buy it if a Coffee house sold it.
people need to open their mind.
It’s simple supply and demand. No one is demanding it so they don’t supply it.
And Teecino is not a natural alternative to coffee. Coffee is a natural product. It’s an herbal alternative to coffee, designed for those who enjoy coffee but can’t tolerate the caffeine that is found (naturally) in coffee beans.
Just because the marketer says it’s an “herbal coffee” or “coffee alternative” doesn’t mean that it is. There is a reason they are vehement in their stance that it is not a “coffee substitute”. It’s a marketing ploy.
