Cuisinart 12-cup Coffee Maker – Black Chrome Series CBC-00SA3

I live on the west slope of the Rocky Mountains at an altitude of 6700 feet. My first Cuisinart 12 Cup Coffee Maker made a good cup of coffee. I always use the four cup button when brewing coffee, no matter how many cups I do. It seems to compensate for the high altitude. The thinner the air is very dry and are on average 16 percent humidity, which implies a very high static electricity. My old coffee maker took about four direct hits static from my finger before it blew his computer. I decided to replace the old with exactly new. So far so good with the static. I always try to touch something metal before I touch the coffee machine. If this is the same reason, I hope it last as long as the first one did. I’ll buy another one, the Cuisinart is still doing the same manufacturer. Rating: 5 / 5
Good coffee, will no longer spend more than $ 70 for a coffee maker. I have the same brand at BJ’s on clearance for $ 35. 00 Rating: 5 / 5
This is a fantastic coffee machine makes great tasting coffee, but what happens if you are debating between this and an “all in one” device that will grind your beans and brews coffee at the same time (which I will refer to as a “Grind” -N-Brew “)? Below are my reasons for not giving in to “all of a gimmick”: 1. Grind-N-Brew makers require as much work as a normal coffee maker and buy a separate grinder. When a mill is built in coffee makers, tend to get wet from the steam every time you use it (unless the mill is far enough away from the bridging portion of the machine. Some models do this, but since some of them still have to manually transfer the bases from part of the machine to the next so what’s the point?). Since the mill becomes wet steam, you have to clean it more often. Some models also require that you clean it after every brew! 2nd With a separate grinder, you can grind the beans the night before (when you set the coffee maker) so there is less noise in the morning to bring dig.3. This maker has a cone filter instead of the bucket-shaped those who tend to come with Grind-N-Brew models I’ve found (not sure why that is) .4. With a separate grinder, you can get better quality grinding. Seems like the built-in grinder that I saw in stores was a bit on the dull side as it would make quite obviously reasons (?) .5. Some Grind-N-Brew models pre-determine how much light you will use, but if you buy a separate grinder, you can determine how strong you want your kaffe.VARFÖR Select this specific BREW-ONLY coffee machine model: Since it makes fantastic tasting coffee and, for the price, it feels solid, looks good, and is of good quality (compared to other makers I have seen for the same price). For me, taste the coffee that I went to a cafe every time I use it. It has a warming plate (and you can set it to high / medium / low). It also has a cleaning function (which I thought was useless until I discovered that it actually will warn you if it is still dirty after you’ve cleaned it (which you have not cleaned it enough) that could be a neat idea. You can also set it to shut off after 1-4 hours and has a 1-4 cup setting (which will heat up the coffee more than usual, because you make a small cup). The coffee is hot (burned my mouth the first time) and tastes good. flaws: 1) Yes, with this model (and many other Cuisinart models), there is the issue of 5 beeps it makes when it completes the brewing cycle. It is not so bad if you sleep in the room. The beep sounds like a generic wristwatch alarms and microwave you can make more noise when they spout so that it really should not discourage you from buying this device unless you are a delicate sleeper or have a studio. . . etc.) .2) No outside water meter (so you just want to keep track of how much water you put into the unit, which can be a detriment to the thermal carafe option). It is possible to say how many cups of water inside the device by looking down the well positioned in the back (it has an action in there) but who wants to do it-only measures in förväg.3) Yes, the hole on the back Pour water in the is relatively small (about the size of an orange, I guess), so you will probably want to have full access to the back of the machine (may be able to slip away from a wall so you can fully open the lid of the machine and get the carafe pouring water väl.4) carafe lid snaps on and off so everything you want to rinse it and put water in it, you have to flip off the lid (not much, but not as nice as the attached lids). I’m getting pretty good at fluttering off the lid with my thumb.
All in all a good buy at a good price! I would highly recommend it for prisklassen.Betyg: 5 / 5
We bought this coffee maker less than 2 years ago. In recent months, we Babysat it to start on it during the brew cycle. Now it is completely kaput. The second research coffeemakers, I see that most manufacturers have at least 10 percent 1-star reviews, many because of the short life of the product. After a Braun coffee grinder for 25 years and before the coffee maker for at least 5, I expect more than a 2-year service life for something I spend almost $ 100. We will return to stovetop cooking and dripped in our thermal carafe – no coffee maker involved. Rating: 1 / 5
I have purchased 5 Cuisinart coffee maker for my office and 4 of 5 have died. The last thing I bought is less than 6 months old. The last 2 have had the same problem, they will not pump water to the basics. Rating: 1 / 5
