Worst investment ever made. I will never buy Delonghi product again. I was convinced to buy because of all the great reviews, but it turns out Delonghi did most of them. Rating: 1 / 5
I almost bought this machine online but made a wise decision to see it first hand in a store. I could not have been more disappointed in its appearance. The machine does not see that its image on closer inspection. The shiny stainless steel-look parts of the image is nothing more than cheap plastic covered by stylish chrome foil. The only real metal outside the drip tray cover. Buttons and knobs are wobbly. From the looks of it here is a cheap machine-made and I just do not have confidence that it will last longer than the short 1-yr garantiperioden.Om you care about how a $ 800 gadget look at the bench, this is not one to own. I use it every day and have only one complaint. The water tank is too small. I was thinking when I bought it, had a preference for “americano”, ie. non-espresso coffee, but I must have been with another machine. Yet it works fine for me and guests. I would buy it again. Rating: 4 / 5
Worked great for a couple of days ago inside the mechanism came off track. Not sure why. Tried to send back and get a new one. Called Popeil Family store several times to get it picked up by UPS (since 12/19/07), is now 1/10/08 and still not picked up. Back to the machine, I think it made good coffee while it lasted, hope to get another one soon. Rating: 4 / 5
