I have a 12 cup coffee maker, but I just want to make 1-2 servings. Can you do that? How much coffee grounds do you enter? How much water? Sorry lol, I’ve never made coffee before!

Yeah, just fill up the measureing pot to 2 cups, and usually it’s 1-2 tbs of coffee grounds per cup.

boil water. put some coffee. boil again. then put in your cup .

Make it strong. If it turns out being to strong, you can always water it down more.

You use one tablespoon per 8 oz cup. If you have a standard coffee measure it is 2 TBS so you use one scoop for every 2 cups.

  • Jordan says:

put in about a scoop of grounds and about 2 cups of water and add more grounds for stronger coffe

you can put in much has you want it doent matter youn half a cup or full

  • swadedog says:

two spoons of coffee & two cups of water

Take the pot and fill it with water to the cup level you want……this is what you’ll be pouring in the top (I’m assuming you have a coffee-maker).

Next – and this is the trickiest part – you’ll have to judge how much coffee to put in the filter for brewing. It all depends if you like stronger or weaker coffee…..but it certainly won’t be as much as a full pot!! (or you WILL be bouncing off the walls! LOL)

Experiment, and after a couple tries, you’ll know exactly how much coffee to use for smaller pots suitable to your taste.

    Enjoy!!
