Similar to other reviews, I have had trouble finding filters. I also own a Krups Mocha Brew and they use a Size 1 round filter which is only avaiable online for $5/ box of 100 plus shipping and handling. This is a lousy way for Krups to do business, not making filters widely available. It would deter me from future purchases.

I beleive I am one of many who are upset with the makers of this product. I’ve had my Braun coffee maker for a while now and have been searching everywhere to find a filter for it. No one has it and no one provides it anymore. So I turned to the internet thinking I would have some luck there. I was wrong. Why would you sell a product and not offer the parts anymore? Is there another filter I can use instead? Please let me know.

The filters work OK for filters. I have very hard water & I always filter the water for my coffee maker anyway. Must not be doing a good job of filtering because my coffee pot requires cleaning often. 2 different filterings is required if I want to keep a coffee maker any length of time. I do think the dual filter design needs improvement because many times the filter floats upward after adding the water to the resivour.

We love our Krups coffeemaker! And you CAN use it without these filters, but I don’t think it tastes as well, plus the filters trap any sediment or stray coffee grounds and extend the life of the coffee maker. We were so happy to find these on Amazon and bought several at once to save on shipping.
