Indonesia has Kopi Luwak. Singapore has Kopitiam. What about Thailand?
And if the best ones are from shops/stalls on side of streets, which street can I find abundant great Thai iced coffe shops?

Thai coffee, O-Lieng or O- Leang
Thai Tea, Cha Dam Yen (with sugar), Cha Yen (with milk)
U can get them anywhere in Bangkok.
There’s a famous tea room in Bangkok called Erawan Tea Room by Grant Hyatt Erawan. Try it.
Thailand is know for many things, but I don’t think Thailand is know for it’s iced coffee or tea. Thailand is also a big place so I don’t want to start naming places to get coffee or tea, but you can always try Starbucks if you want to over pay, or just any coffee house or street stand you see.
stick to the street vendors. try Dim at Sathorn 13
Doi Cham is the name of famous Thai coffee beans. Normally, all Thai coffee are the same and not expensive. Just for to small coffee stall anywhere where they say fresh copy that is not Starbucks.
Kopi Luwak is over-rated. It costs about 500 USD per bag which is probably only five grams. The only thing that they say good about it is that the coffee beans is dropped naturally from the tree, or got picked up by a kind of animal. They ate them and poops out. The Indonesians are picking them up and say the Chemistry within the animals make the beans smell better.
Now, you know this would you pay that obscene amount to drink coffee from beans specially selected from poops?
The coffee many Thais drink is” karfay boran” (traditional coffee). This is served in a glass with condensed milk in the bottom of it.Add some ice and you have Iced Coffee.
Try a karfay boran and some” patango” – light sticks of dough that are flash-fried .Patango are also great for dunking in your coffee. You’ll find this combo in most markets early in the morning.
If you come to Phuket one place never miss to test the good ice coffee and ice tea is Kopi De Phuket. website may be in Thai language but in the shop they is the menu in English.

I’d say street vendors. I’ve tried Thai iced coffee/tea from many shops and restaurants. I think those already adjusted their recipes (or the way to make iced coffee/tea) to be more western (that what I felt).
But, the street vendors always use the same method they have been used 20-30 years ago (e.g. using cloth for filtering coffee and tea — I have heard “the older the clothes they used, the better the taste of coffee or tea is”).
BTW, you should try “Doi Tung” coffee, which is produced/harvested in Chiang rai.
get a can of Birdy out the 7/11 fridge tastes just as bad as at any iced coffee shop. Iced tea Thai style?…..I’d rather drink my own wee
Thais are not coffee drinkers or tea drinkers. Their tastebuds have long been destroyed by heapfuls of chillies they smother on any food they find. To make it go down they pour equal amount of sugar and sour sauce. A modern day barbarian race. Their idea of gourmet meal is to have a meter long fish and giant mud shrimps. They even found a way to preserve seafood by adding formaldehyde, an embalming fluid. Cheaper than ice they say.
The closest you get is O-Liang. Very sweet coffee with ice chips. Tea is serve free. Better ones are served by numers dian xin shops.
