You don’t belong in coffee! We wonder why customers are misinformed about the coffee industy… This woman and her terrible instruction is why. Go work at Starbucks, where you can ruin drinks for snobs. Save the good coffee for people who care about good coffee. This is so sad.

Starbucks or any other coffee shop :D

where can i get the syrup?

  • GinniatheZinnia says:

you can, what I usually do that I’ve found works a little better, is if you have a blender such as for smoothies, heat the milk up on the stove or in the microwave, then put it in the blender for a few minutes and this will make it thicker than if you were to heat it on the stove.

shouldn’t their be at least 1 cm of micro froth on top of a latte? hers is like 0.5mm

  • TheOn3LeftBehind says:

Yeah you can. It froths too, just heat it until it starts bubbling and raising, then stop it so it doesn’t overflow.

I just would like to know, well because I am so rich I can’t get one I just want to know if I can warm the milk up on the stove?

    errrmmm…I’m a barista o.O

You’re on the right track though. The more foam on the top, the dryer the cappuccino. So what some people would call a latte with a little foam on top is actually a very wet cappuccino.

A latte, by definition, doesn’t have foam on top. The milk is steamed to AVOID air bubbles, and gives it a nice velvety consistency that you can make latte art in the crema with.

that’s what I used to think, until i looked up the difference between a latte and cappuccino….the cappuccino is the one with the stiff foam on top according to a few chef websites..and the latte has only a thin foam layer on top…

  • xlsniper50000 says:

  • BigHairyGossamer says:
