It’s hard believing that plastic leaches resins when exposed to hot liquids. Mom always said, “don’t microwave in plastic. ”
But man, what coffee machines out there these days have NO PLASTIC touching hot liquid?
This is coming from a person who takes off the plastic top on his stainless thermos because I don’t like drinking hot stuff through plastic. So not even where the filter goes can be plastic in my ideal world.
What coffee machines exist that have no plastic touching hot liquids??

There are no coffee machine that do not have plastic touching hot fluid at some point.
Either the cup will be plastic or the tubes carrying the water TO the cup will be plastic.
Unfortunately, plastic is a versatile material that is used in a majority of convenience appliances mainly because of the cost.
Even kettles have plastic.
The only way to enjoy a coffee without plastic contact is to boil your own water either in a completely metal kettle (that is used on a stove) or a pan.
Remember this though, plastics are made to strict guidelines.
The resins and toxins that are released are miniscule and – provided you don’t regularly eat the plastic containers – present no dangers to you.
That was an old and disproven myth that plastics leach into hot liquids.
You can quit avoiding plastics now.
