I perched a Bunn Coffee maker through Amazon from Wet Beans. It was a used unit and had been cleaned and in good shape. It came with two pots and a plastic pitcher for filling it and complete documentation. I am happy with it and it works well but they should have included the spring that is used for cleaning it. The spring cost so little but I had to order it from another source. Ron

After many different models and many different failures we went commercial!!! I am perfectly happy with this coffee maker. . yes, it’s BIG and it takes up room. . . but if you’re big coffee drinkers like us. . . this is the answer!! The only real drawback to Bunn is that there is no Automatic Shut off, so if you leave the pots on the burners and the coffee gets down low enough, your coffee WILL Burn and you WILL be stuck cleaning out the pot. . . it will also burn any surface you set it on and you must be careful not to put cold water in that hot Decanter. So there are some drawbacks to commercial brewing, I’m surprised Bunn has not addressed this hazzard. In case, I am happy with it, the ease of making coffee and having two pots. . . Decaf if you like along with the regular. : )

We use this coffee maker where I work, and it makes the BEST coffee I’ve ever had. We dont use expensive, over priced coffee, just a tasty columbian coffee and it comes out like a dream. The other ladies I work with say they love the coffee this maker works, much much better than they can get at home. I use a french press at home which I love, but this coffee maker makes such a smooth cup of joe that everyone can agree on!

About 15 years ago, I purchased a Bunn home duty coffee maker and found it to be excellent. After about 5 years of nearly daily use, it started to get a little finicky so I took it apart in an attempt to clean the hot water chamber. Turned out the sealing parts are not really made to be taken apart after 5 years of use and then go back together.
In a quest for a new Bunn, I found that the VPR cost about double what the home version cost so. . . . 10 years later, the Bunn VPR is still going strong and has helped out at family events serving large groups of people (just what the machine is designed for!). Despite having water poured into the bottom heat plate (don’t try to pour water in without a carafe in place), it still works perfectly!
A hint to those who make coffee only on the weekends: the design of the Bunn is that it is a small hot water tank and keeps a couple gallons of water hot and ready to go at all times. This will use some electricity and I’ve taken to putting a towel over the top of mine to help insulate and lower energy usage. Additionally, being hot all the time, water will evaporate. If going more than a couple days without making coffee, it’s best to pour a pitcher of water in (with the filter basket empty and a carafe ready to catch the hot water) to top off the tank and then make a pot with coffee after it has reheated the reservoir.
If by some Act of God, my Bunn stops working, I will not hesitate to purchase another Commercial Bunn for what is essentially personal, home use. If you love coffee and can tolerate the price, this is a great choice for a coffee brewer!

I love this machine. I see it in the restarants and the coffee is always excellent. Bought this one and love how fast it makes the coffee. I would invest the money and this place seem to have the cheapest price.
