To a mug of coffee add a handful of semi-dark chocolate chips (or whichever you like best) and then stir the coffee with a candy cane which you leave in for as long as you like. One or two red and white striped mints work too. If that doesn’t provide enough degenerate pleasure, then top with whipped cream and maybe sprinkle some cinnamon.

Cinnamon spiced coffee

2/3 cup Coffee
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup granulated sugar or firmly packed brown sugar
6 cups cold water

Place coffee and cinnamon in filter in brew basket of coffee
maker. Place sugar in bottom of carafe of coffee maker.
Fill coffee maker with water; brew. When brewing is complete; stir
with wooden spoon until well mixed.
Serve immediately with milk and additional sugar, if desired.

Experiment with other spices too, like nutmeg, cloves and fennel, allspice or whatever else you like.

Enjoy!
Don’t have chocolate chips available? Use Nesquick, chocolate flavor, if handy.

    Thanks for the recipes!

If there are people in your home that do not drink coffee (little kids for example) or you don’t want caffeine, try the peppermint candy cane in hot chocolate, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream instead of milk. Yum!

    Happy Holidays!
