In addition to your taste buds it could also be that they simply dont make things the quality they were before.

I’m not sure about coffee specifically, but NOTHING is the same as it was 25 years ago. Some things are better, some things are worse, but nothing is the same at all…
Do you get canned coffee, or do you grind your own?
If you don’t grind your own beans, try that. That’s ALWAYS better

Processing and preservatives. Also might want to look at the areas of which the coffee came from, Italy, Colombia, Puerto Rico. I buy Yaucono which is puertorrican, but it’s very hard to find. It’s a great tasting coffee, with a full aroma, and a solid rich taste. You might also want to consider changing your brewer to an espresso machine if you don’t have one, so that you can extract the most out of coffee experience each morning.

Good luck with your coffee hunt!

Coffee hasn’t changed, if you buy fresh. The canned stuff and low-quality auto-drip coffee mkers have gotten people to trade taste for convenience.

If you buy quality coffee and properly brew it, it will taste as good as ever.

I love it so much that years ago I started roasting my own beans and now have seven ways to brew coffee.
