Apart from teeth stains from both I think the biggest difference that can cause issues is the ammount of caffeine.
Drip coffee usually has more caffeine than espresso, therefore causing more cardiovascular stresses.

What I have found out is Coffee isn’t bad for you as for what doctors have come up with but what it does do. It gets you hyper and makes you sweat your butt off, it can make you dehydrated a bit so drink lots of water, and last if you stop drinking coffee you will get a coffee headache I get those allot but have learned that lots of water during the time off the coffee is what makes that go away. SO I love the espresso better then the drip but that is me. When I dont want to give over 3 bucks for a mocha then I just make it myself and it works jsut as good but for some reason once I started drinking the mochas I cant get that buzz from the drip.
